Shinshia's Shashin

For three years I taught English in Japan where "Cynthia" is pronounced "Shinshia". "Shashin" means "picture" in Japanese. So there ya go, the explanation for the title of my blog. Enjoy the shashin!

Chess














Opa has high hopes that his granddaughter will actually enjoy playing chess with him! Poor guy, he tried teaching me and my brothers when we were kids but none of us had much interest. Asia really got into it so he was pretty pumped...
