Happy New Year!!

Heading to Bainbridge Island on the ferry to join the rest of the Tanises to ring in the New Year. Plenty of things to keep us entertained!














The first stop was lunch at a little local BBQ joint. Chicken makes Cynthia happy. Always has, always will!

Mom and dad said they are going to wear these 2008 glasses all year in case they forget what year it is. Aww, they aren't old enough to start forgetting things! Speaking of which, I've forgotten how old they actually are. Oh, so maybe forgetfulness starts young and they *should* be worried ;)

There were some technical difficulties (something about the computer program crashing. Imagine that, in the land of Bill Gates himself we have major computer crashes!!) so the fireworks were rather pitiful. Hopefully that wasn't an indication of the year to come...
